Software Engineer in Test

About You:
You will be working with people whose passion for creating outstanding software matches yours. As a member of the Product Development and Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for building the underlying automation architecture and automating tests to facilitate continuous integration with quality and validation of performance and scalability standards.
- Design, code, and maintain C#/.NET automation code concurrently with feature development by the engineering team in an Agile environment.
- Design and execute tests using automated test tools for the verification of software requirements.
- Knowledge of Webview or front-end automation
- Build test strategies and test plans to cover existing and newly developed product features using a balance of automation and exploratory testing.
- Assist in the development of test automation frameworks and strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of testing processes
- Support test infrastructure setup and test tool development
- Explore new tools that can be used to assist in the QA process
- Take part in design and technical discussions with multiple teams to tackle new features and resolve software problems that arise
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers
- Help with software deployments and troubleshooting outside of normal hours as needed
- Work with product owners, developers, and QA management to define acceptance criteria, identify risks, and plan testing coverage for upcoming features/releases
- Directly responsible for contributing to the success of the KorTerra product and the overall organization
- Actively participate in Agile development, testing, and CI/CD methodologies
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience writing code in one or more object-oriented languages, C# preferred
- Experience writing test code from scratch.
- Experience scripting in Python, Perl, Shell, or VBScript
- Experience with any or all the following technologies: Azure, Azure SQL, Snowflake, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience with commonly used automation frameworks
- Experience in automating software in a way that is not record & playback
- Developing with source control managements tools such as Git and Bitbucket
- Developing in a team environment using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years’ experience with automated test development
- Experience testing in the Lambda test suite is preferred
