Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all regulations. As an Owner Operator, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Pay is 80% to 88%. Depending on if you have you own tailer and fuel card . Equipment must pass DOT, medical card has a minimum of 6 months left before expiring. Drivers are required to have their own bobtail/PD insurance and plates. Cut-off is Tuesday paid on Friday. Prepass, motive eld, fuel and tire discounts. Clean driving record and no major accidents. We currently have reefers to rent but you can bring your own trailer. Vans, reefers, flats and stepdecks are welcome.
Duties
- Operate various types of trucks including roll-off trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and tractor-trailers.
- Execute route driving and delivery driver responsibilities, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Manage maintenance and repairs for your vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Familiarity with various truck types such as roll-off trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and tractor-trailers is preferred.
- Experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in commercial driving environments.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
