We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of various types of furniture in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive high-quality service and satisfaction with their furniture setup.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install furniture according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Ensure all pieces are securely assembled and functioning properly before leaving the site.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including an ohmmeter for electrical components when necessary.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for after each job.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation, providing solutions to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize risks during the installation process.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to furniture assembly.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with electrical components is a plus, particularly experience using an ohmmeter.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
