Job Summary

The Office Assistant/Billing Specialist compiles, manages, and executes client billing; answer inquiries from clients; responsible for data accuracy; observes confidentiality of client data. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional with the ability to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, typing up invoices, submitting invoices to customers, waste tracking, basic office duties such as filing, scanning, etc. Must have computer skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Compile and process a high volume of invoices to clients

Problem solves complex billing scenarios

Research and respond to client inquiries

Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner

Observe confidentiality of client data

Assist with special projects as needed

Flexibility to work additional hours if required

Perform other duties as assigned

Answer phones

QUALIFICATIONS:

This role does not require a college degree. Prior experience is not required. (Will train)

Proficiency in QuickBooks desire / Not Necessary

Must be detail oriented and organized

Must be a team player

Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

SCHEDULE:

8 hour shift – Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

WAGE: Depending on experience. At least $16.00 per hour
