Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position involves performing custodial tasks across commercial and residential settings, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Carry out custodial duties in both commercial and residential environments, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, contributing to the overall upkeep of the property.
- Handle industrial cleaning responsibilities, utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment for effective results.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment needs to management.
- Follow safety protocols while performing cleaning duties to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
