- Be able to identify immediate Supervisor by name and by sight and receive direction and supervision from him/her.
- Take care of tools and equipment; safeguard against theft or unauthorized use.
- Supervise entrance/exit doors to assure locking/unlocking at times scheduled.
- Identify potential thieves or vandals among staff or patrons
- Ability to respond well to emergency situations
- Report if any outside lights are not working.
- Patrol and check alarm system, smoke detector, etc…
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Administrator
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Degree or currently pursuing.
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with customers, management and coworkers.
- Must be alert.
- Trustworthy
- Must take serious the security of the Store and safety of Customers and Employees.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be able to read and complete the daily forms (incident, maintenance request, daily check-off list)

Working Conditions:
The work environment for this position is a store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather. The employee is routinely exposed to outdoor weather. Full-Time or Part-Time position; will require weekend and evening hours.
