Job Summary
Operates multi-head embroidery machine(s). Acts as a utility member of production when needed, but focuses on running embroidery machines in an efficient manner and according to job specification, while also ensuring the best possible product for customers meeting the customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receives job assignments from Production Supervisor.
- Sets up jobs according to work order specifications ensuring all details are correct including location, size, thread colors, and decoration notes.
- Embroiders sew outs and receive approval on sample runs when necessary.
- Operates a 6 head Tajima machine.
- Inspects decorated items for quality such as placement, alignment, colors and quality of embroidery.
- Counts and confirms quantities of garments are consistent with work orders, while also acting as quality control.
- Trims backing and completes finishing work on garments as necessary.
- Box orders and fill out pack slips in accordance with company procedures.
- Uses software to update job statuses throughout the production process.
- Maintains production records as required.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.

- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift 40 lbs; from the floor and or overhead, occasionally each day.
- Ability to push or pull a cart loaded with product more than 100 yards.
- Ability to identify colors as displayed in artwork against thread options.
