We’re seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and dependable Lead Electrical Sign Installer to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Lead Sign Installer at GCSG, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing sign installation projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires both leadership and hands-on skills to ensure that installations are completed in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. You will work closely with the Install Manager and other team members to ensure each job is completed to perfection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Install Projects: Oversee and lead sign installation projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work meets company standards for quality and safety.
- Installation Types: Install a variety of signage types, including Channel Letters, Monument Signs, LED Retrofits, Cabinet Signs, pole signs, rebar cage building, ADA Signs, Post and Panel signs, and Window Graphics.
- Electrical Sign Experience: Perform electrical sign installations and retrofits, ensuring all electrical work is done according to code and safety standards.
- Crane/Boom Truck Operation: Safely operate crane/boom trucks to assist with installations. Maintain the company is assigned to you as needed.
- Documentation: Complete all required job documentation, including photos, measurements, and other necessary reports.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers on job sites, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team and Install Manager to ensure a smooth, organized installation process.
- Tool Management: Maintain and ensure the proper use of tools and equipment.
- Physical Demands: Lift up to 75 lbs and safely climb ladders as required by job sites.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sign installation experience.
- Signage Knowledge: Experience with the installation of various types of signage, including channel letters, monument signs, cabinet signs, and LED retrofits.
- Electrical Expertise: Must have experience working with electrical signs and knowledge of electrical systems and safety.
- Crane/Boom Truck: Must be able to drive and operate crane/boom trucks.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to complete and maintain accurate job documentation.
- Tools: Must have a personal set of hand tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 75 lbs and climb ladders.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- License: Valid driver’s license is required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently without direct supervision and as part of a team.
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism when interacting with customers.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
