Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the cooking staff.
- Ensure that all dishware is properly organized and stored after cleaning.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere within the hospitality industry.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation standards.
