Express Employment Professionals in Maple Grove, MN has partnered with an Elk River company who is hiring Deburring Technicians! The Deburring Technician will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from metal parts and components, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.

Pay
- $18.00-$25.00/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform deburring, grinding, polishing, and cleaning of metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections, ensuring all surfaces are smooth and meet quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to understand part requirements
- Maintain and operate deburring equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
- Record and document work completed, noting any issues or discrepancies
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Continuously improve deburring processes and techniques for efficiency and quality
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, lift, and twist as needed for various tasks
- Previous deburring, metalworking, or related experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as deburring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Basic computer experience for documenting
