Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cultivation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the growth and maintenance of our plants, ensuring optimal conditions for cultivation. This position requires hands-on experience in greenhouse management, gardening, or farming, along with a passion for plant care and cultivation practices.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor plant health through regular inspections and care routines.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for planting, pruning, and harvesting activities.
- Assist in the management of greenhouse environments, including temperature and humidity control.
- Supervise daily cultivation tasks and provide guidance to team members as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting associated with planting and transporting materials.
- Irrigate plants according to established schedules and requirements to ensure proper hydration.
- Implement basic math skills for measuring nutrients and calculating water needs.
- Engage in animal husbandry activities if applicable to the cultivation process.
- Keep accurate records of plant growth, treatments, and environmental conditions.
Experience
- Previous experience in greenhouse operations, farming, or gardening is preferred.
- Familiarity with supervising team members or assisting in training new staff is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks on a regular basis.
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and plant care techniques is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Pay: $17.00 – $20.43 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
