Claims – Coordinator
Midwest Holding LLC., a rapidly growing financial services holding company, seeks a customer service-focused, hands-on, and energetic team player to join us as Claims Coordinator. We operate as a modern insurance-holding company focused on long-term growth. We aim to foster and cultivate our relationships to sell and administer annuity products through third-party independent marketing organizations (IMOs).
Summary/Objective
The Claims Coordinator will be responsible for managing the claims process for our annuity products. This role involves coordinating with clients, agents, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric mindset.
Essential Functions
· Claims Processing: Review and process claims submitted by clients and agents, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
· Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their claims, providing updates and answering inquiries promptly.
· Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of all claims and related documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
· Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, customer service representatives, and compliance teams to facilitate the claims process and resolve any issues that may arise.
· Data Entry: Accurately enter claims data into the company’s claims management system, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible.
· Claims Analysis: Monitor and analyze claims data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for process improvement.

Required Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma required.
- AA in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years experience in claims processing, insurance, or financial services is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee must be able to hear customers and agents over the phone. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed to complete work and ensure operations/business is not interrupted or slowed.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
