About the role

As a CDL Driver, you will perform duties associated with transporting waste between Reworld facility and the landfill. Drivers must be able to driver manual transmission (no restrictions).

Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment in a safe manner following DOT regulations and company policies and regulations.
  • Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
  • Ensure placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations.
  • Maintain paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Secure cargo prior to and during transit.
  • Complete additional assigned duties.

Position Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
  • CDL A License
  • Minimum of 1 year experience driving tractor and trailer, preferred
  • Manual transmission required
  • Abide by standard DOT regulations at all times.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule rotating shifts. Work on weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands of the Role:

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
  • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
  • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
  • Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
  • Consistently work in various weather conditions

Shift:

  • Rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

Pay: $75,852.00 – $79,765.00 per year
