Dashi is looking for BOH staff! Apply to be a prep/line cook and work with a stellar team. Full time morning with weekend availability position available.
Prep/line Cook are responsible for:
- Setting up hot line and ramen for lunch service
- Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and menu specifications
- Preparing and stocking back of house for successful service
- Ensuring that food preparation and storage meets health and safety standards
- Cleaning dishes, washing cooking utensils and cookware, taking out the trash and sanitizing kitchen
- Assembling ramen bowls to Dashi’s standards and presentation
We are seeking candidates with excellent communication skills and ability to successfully multi-task. Must be a team player that has a passion for great food. Cooking and restaurant kitchen experience is preferred. No need to have specific experience with Japanese cuisine, but must be eager to learn. Welcoming to all and felony friendly employer.
