We currently have 2 openings for a Material Control Coordinators for one of our customers in Pontiac, MI. We have 3 shift available-1st shift 6am to 2:30pm, 2nd shift-2:00pm to 10:30pm with some overtime and the rate of pay is $18 per hour. These positions will require an onsite interview. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Job Description of the Material Control Coordinator:
- Provides assistance with inventory and material control activities.
- Assist as needed to resolve daily inventory record issues
- Document all Inventory Adjustments in ERP and MGO ERP
- Performs cycle counts monthly and ensures all parts are cycle counted last 10 days of depletion
- Monitors and schedules daily pick sheets to Operations via EDI or manual releases
- Communicate with GM Plants on part depletion, container loop, out bound windows
- Communicate with suppliers on inbound part schedules, ASN issues
- Monitor inventory transactions at warehouse to assess receiving, storage, shipping, or inventory integrity
- Monitor part contract effective and expiration dates and alert GM Operations as required
- Communicate all over shipments from suppliers to GM Operations and obtain approval to receive or return material as directed by GM
- The Material Control Analyst will assist with annual physical inventory
- Communicate unsatisfactory load reports with Suppliers and GM Operations
- Upload case information in to ERP and MGO as applicable
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements of the Material Control Analyst:
Knowledge of the MGO system and or ERP
Strong communication skills while interacting with internal and external customers
· Ability to coordinate various activities simultaneously
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma
· three to five years of relevant experience in automotive or manufacturing, part control or material management experience required
