Operator
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtains general knowledge of the processing plant its operations. Charts pressure, temperature, and other characteristics of processing plant. Processes and interprets findings for use in determining adjustments necessary
- During routine rounds look for and be aware of conditions that are potential hazards.
- Report compliance (environmental, health, safety, security, or quality) hazards or violations.
- Scale in/out trucks.
- Load/unload trucks.
- Load/unload trains.
- Perform general inspection activities when making rounds in the process area.
- Collect/Test samples.
- Perform specific monitoring and operation of the Insta-Pro and Easy Automation equipment.
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks.
- Operate forklift to assist in the movement of heavy objects.
- Lockout/Tagout equipment.
- Assist in the training of others.
- Report abnormal/critical conditions regarding equipment.
- Perform housekeeping daily and as needed.
- Report non-compliance situations to Operations Manager.
- Support and champion environmental, health, safety, and security programs to ensure full compliance.
- Continuously seek to improve Majestic’s processes and procedures while maintaining good safety, environmental, security, and quality culture.
- Other duties as assigned and trained.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Attendance, integrity, willingness to learn and goal driven.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- General mathematical skills, with ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, measurements, etc.
- Must be able to operate all products testing equipment necessary to obtain accurate results.
- Must be able to operate equipment and machines.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Two years related experience.
- Must pass drug screen.
- Must pass background test.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Strong team orientation yet able to work independently.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Able to use basic hand tools.
- Proficient computer aptitude.
- Train car/ Track mobile experience.

- Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes, cramped spaces, loud noises, chemicals and fumes, dust, heights or work safety hazards

- Normal physical mobility, which includes heavy lifting, heights, bending, stooping, climbing (to extreme heights) and working with hand tools.
- Normal physical mobility, which includes movements from place to place on the job taking distance and speed into account.

- Normal physical strength to handle 50 – 75 -pound object, taking frequency into consideration.
- Ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to climb heights in excess of 60’.
- May work in confined spaces (i.e. bins and silos).

The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; during daylight hours and times of darkness. The employee is frequently required to perform duties during inclement and occasionally severe weather. The employee has potential exposure to fumes, dusts, mists, vapor, and caustics. There is potential exposure to hot surfaces and live steam. The employee will be working around pressurized vessels and piping which contains heated combustible and flammable materials. There is a risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. Bump and impact hazards are present in the form of vessels, piping, stationery/moving machinery, and vehicular traffic. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally high.
**Ideal candidate will train and fulfill this role for period of time and move to a management position.
