Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
– Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
– Assist with dishwashing duties as needed
– Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
– Assist with food preparation for banquets, catering events, and restaurant service
– Follow all safety and health regulations
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting
– Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
