Direct Support Professionals will provide the following duties:
- Directs and supports IDD individuals with daily living personal assistance such as eating, grooming, bathing, dressing, medication administration, etc.
- Ensure the health, safety and well being of each individual;
- Accompany and support each individual during community integration activities such as natural supports, participation in leisure activities and development of appropriate social behaviors;
- Provide a Person Centered Approach to each individual;
- Write all documentation in an accurate manner including, but not limited to, medication logs, progress notes, time sheets, incident reports.
- De – escalate negative behaviors when neccessary
- MUST BE CERTIFIED in Medication Administration and CPR/First Aid
Shift: Saturday 8am-8pm, Sunday 8am-8pm
