Job description:

Scope of Service: Provides comprehensive planning and active supports for the care and treatment of agency clients. Coordinates the development, implementation, scheduling, and evaluation of all residential programming in a multitude of programs. Provides case management oversight and networks with area community providers. Interviews, trains, and provides professional development to staff, interns, and volunteers for the positions which it supervises. Performs other duties as assigned.

Program Management:

  • Assists Program Director to ensure effective administration of program standards and procedures related to the operation and provision of services.
  • Assists in monitoring costs and allocation of resources for program, in accordance with agency and client needs.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable contractual, licensing and accreditation requirements.
  • Implements changes in program reflecting identified agency priorities and strategic plan.
  • Maintains working relationships with identified community providers.

Clinical Services and Supervision:

  • Provides direct clinical, crisis, and residential supports to staff regarding client care in collaboration with and direction from Program Director.
  • Supervises program admissions, planning, and discharge processes.
  • Assists with planning and conducting staff meetings to insure that services are person-centered and responsive to individual needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s in related field with a minimum one (1) year consecutive managerial experience in behavioral health.
  • Prior experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance abuse experience is required. Must be highly organized and experience in working with fee for service – commercial insurance.
  • Valid Connecticut Driver’s license is required. Scattered site and non-24 hr. program positions require the employee to maintain reliable transportation and be willing to transport clients in personal vehicles.
  • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire. Employee is responsible to maintain ongoing certification.
  • Proficient computer skills required, including Microsoft Office and electronic record keeping.

  • FT 40 Hours Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm on-call rotations

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $71,027.06 yearly

Full Time 40 hours a week Monday to Friday with flexible schedule which may include some weekends as needed and on-call rotation.
