Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure a clean environment.
- Maintain floors through buffing and floor care techniques to enhance their appearance and longevity.
- Conduct custodial duties in commercial spaces, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Assist in facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs observed during cleaning tasks.
- Execute industrial cleaning procedures as required, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Carry out porter duties, including the transport of materials or supplies as needed within the facility.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists to maintain consistency in service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work standards.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
